Missions in Our Backyard
The Conquest Self Defense “Missions in Our Backyard” program is a community service outreach created to serve local families in need, who live in the neighborhoods surrounding the CSD Academy located in the East Tacoma community.
Each quarter a single parent, elderly neighbor, widow, or family in need will be selected for these service projects. This opportunity allows for CSD students and families to walk-out the Gospel, reflect the love of God, and serve, as ambassadors for Christ in our community.
Service projects will vary based on the need of the family being served and may include yard clean-up and maintenance, garbage hauls, minor home repair, food, and clothing provisions.
The work is completed by volunteers comprised of CSD students and families. All materials needed will be provided for through CSD and donations collected for each project.
