WRESTLING FOUNDATIONS SUMmER CAMP

Learn and grow in the sport of wrestling in this positive, safe, and fun day camp, for the cost of a donation or for no cost at all. Instruction will be focused on beginning wrestlers or those with no wrestling experience, however, all experience levels are welcome.
This four-day camp will focus on developing youth wrestlers, ages 7-14 years old, who are starting out in the sport of wrestling.
Each day will include Collegiate/Folkstyle technique and drilling for takedowns, escaping bottom, controlling from top position, and pinning, as well as live wrestling.
Camp coaches are U.S.A Wrestling certified and are also experienced wrestlers, delivering high quality instruction.
Campers will discover how Jesus Christ can be glorified through physical ability and mental attitude, as athletes hear a Christ-centered, gospel forward, Bible message at each session.

Wrestling Club
The CSD Wrestling Club is sanctioned under USA Wrestling, offering wrestling training and competition team opportunities for the youth in Tacoma and the surrounding communities.
During the respective seasons, athletes will receive training and instruction in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. These opportunities are offered throughout the year. Practices, workouts, and clinics are provided by experienced and accomplished wrestlers and coaches, who have a passion for the sport of wrestling and a greater desire to help young athletes in our community achieve the heights of their talent and ability, while growing in Christ for His glory.
All wrestling workouts include a Christ-centered Bible message, presented before or after each training.
CSD coaches are USA Wrestling Bronze Level Certified and have been background checked, child abuse prevention certified, CPR, First-Aid, and AED certified, in order to provide a high-level and safe training experience.
All training and team participation is provided for the cost of a donation. Training opportunities are provided year-round.
